I'm originally from Nantwich in Cheshire and graduated with a First Class MChem degree from the University of Oxford in 2018. I completed my Part II project with Prof. Stuart Conway, synthesising and evaluating the biological activity of novel hypoxia-activated prodrugs. In the Donohoe group I will be working on the application of photochemistry to iridium-catalysed hydrogen borrowing in collaboration with Prof. Martin D. Smith. Outside the lab I enjoy playing the guitar and singing, mostly in a functions band called Wayne & the Hairy Peaches, playing cricket, and watching the mighty Liverpool FC.
