G'day! I completed my Bsc. and Bsc. (Hons) in my home city of Adelaide in South Australia at the University of Adelaide. I continued on at the University of Adelaide to earn my Ph.D. in organic chemistry under A/Prof Jonathan George, developing biomimetic cascade reactions for the total synthesis of chromane meroterpenoids. In 2021 I globe-trotted to the opposite side of the world to do a post-doc with Prof. Timothy Donohoe, working on arene C-H functionalisation. Outside of the lab I enjoy pub quizzes and sharing my love of cinema.
