I obtained my BSc and MSc degree in chemistry from the Westfälische WilhelmsUniversität Münster, Germany. After a research stay in the laboratory of Professor Mark Lautens at the University of Toronto I returned to Münster to carry out a PhD under the supervision of Professor Armido Studer, investigating new boron-based radical reactions. In March 2020 I moved to Oxford and joined the Donohoe group as a postdoctoral research associate. My research is focused on the development of dearomative functionalization strategies. In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis and many outdoor activities.
