I completed my undergraduate integrated masters in Chemistry at the University of Durham, where I carried out my final year project and summer placement under the supervision of Professor Andrew Whiting, working on synthetic retinoids. During my time at Durham I have been a British Petroleum scholar and awardee on many occasions. I am passionate about innovation and public engagement, my notable involvement with the university's committees have been reflected in University College awards. In 2018 I joined the Donohoe group here in Oxford and am now working on the synthesis of small molecules with therapeutic applications, working towards total synthesis of Pectenotoxin-4. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, equestrian and photography.
